ICSC Conference: "New Challenges in the Management of Shopping Centers"

On February 25, 2016 in Kiev, the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) held a conference dedicated to the management of shopping centers.
“At the ICSC conference, experts examined issues related to the growing competition between new shopping and entertainment centers and the Internet, discussed issues relating to innovations in shopping center management that could help save time and money.” - comments Maxim Gavryushin, head of the National Committee of the ICSC in Ukraine, Commercial Director of Budhouse Group. - This year, the ICSC conference in Ukraine gathered a third of the country's retail property market. We did not expect such success, considering  the experience of the past year and the difficult situation in the country. But, apparently, we guessed with the topic of the conference. Construction of shopping centers in Ukraine is currently not active. Therefore, developers are more focused on management and operations. Speakers who represented leading European development and service companies also played a major role in attracting participants. The success of the conference indicates the beginning of a gradual recovery of the market after a protracted crisis, and we hope that the next ICSC event in Ukraine will be even more successful.
