In the first half of 2026, Budhouse Group shopping centres demonstrated growth across key operating indicators. Total footfall at the company’s properties increased by 8% compared with the same period last year, while tenant sales grew by 24% in hryvnia terms.
The positive trend continued despite security challenges caused by regular attacks on Ukrainian cities, as well as unfavourable weather conditions and the late start of the spring season.
Footfall
Between January and June 2026, Budhouse Group shopping centres welcomed almost 13 million visitors. This was 8% more than in the corresponding period of 2025.
The main driver of growth was Nikolsky Shopping Centre in Kharkiv, where footfall increased by 12%. In May 2026, the complex returned to its 2021 performance level, reaching approximately 1 million visitors per month.
Lubava Shopping Centre and Forum Lviv Shopping Centre also recorded gradual growth in footfall, although at a more moderate pace.
Tenant sales
The total tenant sales of Budhouse Group shopping centres amounted to UAH 8.4 billion in the first half of 2026. This was 24% more than in the same period of 2025. In euro terms, the increase amounted to 12%.
Nikolsky Shopping Centre demonstrated the strongest performance among the company’s properties, with tenant sales in euro terms increasing by 21%.
Tenants and vacancy rate
In the first half of 2026, Budhouse Group maintained the vacancy rate across its shopping centres at below 1%.
The vacancy rate at Forum Lviv Shopping Centre remains at zero. At the same time, stores operated by Inditex Group brands and H&M are currently not trading at Nikolsky Shopping Centre.
Tenant rotation at Nikolsky and Lubava shopping centres was limited during the reporting period.
The most significant changes in the tenant structure took place at Forum Lviv Shopping Centre. During the first half of the year, a number of relocations were completed within the complex, while stores representing more than 10 new brands were also opened. This helped strengthen and diversify the shopping centre’s tenant mix.
The fashion gallery in the Nikolsky shopping and entertainment center in Kharkiv has expanded. Two new brands have joined the tenant pool at once - Discounterra and All Stars.
